PETER ROSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The Institute for Emergency Department Clinical Quality Improvement offers a limited number of scholarships to emergency department clinicians who currently live and work in countries found on the World Bank’s low-income or lower-middle income economies index.
Scholarships include the registration/tuition, course materials, exam fee, meals and coffee breaks during the course (if live course), and any scheduled networking events. Scholarship recipients are responsible for payment of their own travel, lodging, and visa costs (if live course).
Eligible candidates:
Physicians or nurses currently working within the emergency department setting in a country on the World Bank’s low income or lower-middle income economies index.
Candidates must also have fluency in English.

2025 Applications are due by January 15, 2025 (for EQUIP, Neuro, and Medical Education courses).
The emailed application must include:
CV (curriculum vitae). CV should include a statement regarding the applicant’s level of English (and relevant exams).
Personal statement from the applicant that describes his/her hospital and ED, his/her current role, his/her goals with respect to the development of QI initiatives within the ED (what the applicant hopes to gain from this course and how he/she hopes to enact change as a result of the course)
